New Treatment

Zoey received an infusion of Aclasta, a drug that prevents the body from sloughing off old bone which then makes the bones stronger faster. This treatment is every 6 months for at least 2 years. Bone density testing will determine the full length of treatment. Zoey did well with all the blood tests and the IV. The first treatment required a hospital stay so Grandma stayed overnight with her. Her next treatment is in November.
